Lather, Rinse, Repeat...

Here's how I do it.

In the shower (never a bathtub):
Left Arm.
Right Arm.
Left Leg.
Right Leg.
Both Feet.
Nether regions.
Then I rinse my ENTIRE body, head to toe.

This takes between five and eight minutes, max. Also, I get into the shower sometime between 0710 to 0718, depending on the story running on the Today Show.

After that, I:
towel dry my body
towel dry my hair
wrap the towel around my waist
comb my hair straight
apply my deodorant
remove the towel and hang it up
get dressed
brush my teeth
apply "product" to my hair
re-comb my hair into today's, uhm... effort
grab my keys and lunch if:

TheHusband made it, and then:

walk out the door.

Start to finish: 35 minutes.
How about you?

Holy Crap! We have a very similar routine... with a few exceptions. And, even though Chris says I'm a big girl and take an hour to get ready, it's really 45-50 minutes - max. Don't listen to him.

Uhm... why? ;-)

Yes. 14 years. He is not around when this happens, which is why it works.

Any other questions?

If you do your hair first, leaving in the soap while you do everything else, it acts like a conditioner. At least that's been my observation.

Dave, hasn't that been YOUR experience? LOL!!

35 min! Amazing! Why do I take so long?!?! I never take less than 60 min, and 75 is ideal. Other girls I know can do 30-45 min, and it's not like I'm a girlie-girl, so I don't know what my problem is. I now attribute it to me being an ultra slow mover in the morning.

Mikell, I used to do that and found out it was giving me dandruff from letting it sit in my hair too long. Once I stopped doing that my dandruff went away.

Very impressive. I've been on disability so long that I think I'd have to go into training to be able to get my shit together so fast!!

That reminds me of the Life as Haiku section of the Washington Post. Very cool.

Fun post. I posted something like this last year... put I'm not linking to it because you'll just laugh... let's just say it exceeds your 35 mins. by a longshot! hehe

It was nice reading what someone else does, though.
